Last day of tests in Jerez for the MotoE, with the weather that played the leading role. It wasn't an easy morning for the teams and riders, since they had to deal with conditions that weren’t that favorable.
The best of the morning turned out to be Mattia Casadei, with 1’54”586 at the end of the session. The Pons team rider had the best of 3 tenths on Miguel Pons who, in turn, was only 33 thousandths from Jordi Torres.
Eric Granado also appeared at the top, the star of yesterday afternoon with a new record on the Ducati. The Brazilian rider reached a 4th position in front of an all-Italian trio made up of Spinelli, Zaccone, and Ferrari.
Under particularly insidious conditions, the riders didn’t seek the time trial on the flying lap, preferring to work more on sensations and pace.
Randy Krummenacher closed the Top 10, while Tito Rabat didn’t make it, nor di Luca Salvadori who was 12th with over a second and a half from the top, followed by Kevin Manfredi, Mantovani, Finello, and Zannoni with Maria Herrera closing the group.
The tests continue this afternoon and are expected to end at 5 pm.
