A dream day that becomes a nightmare: this is how LCR imagined the presentation of the team. In a nice video, which you can see above, Alex Rins is alone in the racing department assembling his Honda RC213V piece by piece.
As in all fairy tales, a happy ending is guaranteed and the Spanish rider can finally pose alongside his new partner.
For the team of Lucio Cecchinello and Rins it is the beginning of a new adventure and expectations are high. "My dream is to become world champion and I'm working a lot for this, you have to have everything under control," Alex was clear.
The Spaniard has a lot of experience, but he has only ridden the Suzuki in the premier class and will have to know how to adapt to the new bike.
“This is going to be my seventh season in MotoGP and every year I'm learning something new - he said - I learnt a lot during these years how to work under pressure, ti be calm, especially in 2022 I did a big step mentally. What would I say to the Alex from 15 years ago? To work hard, to be happy and to find good people around you, if you have all this, you will arrive”.
All that remains is to start and aim high.
“My strong point is consistency. I try to work hard from the beginning, studying and trying to know the circuit and the bike and the secrets from that track. I start 2023 with determination” assures Alex.
