The mind takes us back to the Ducati days when Michele Pirro used to follow him closely, giving him all the advice he needed. For about a year now, the Apulian test rider and Andrea Iannone have been sharing several days on the track.
We saw them together at Misano, then at Vallelunga a couple of weeks ago, and now we find them again on the track named after the memory of Marco Simoncelli. Today, however, Andrea is not using his Aprilia RSV4, but rather the Panigale V4.
For Andrea, this is a return to the 'Rossa' seven years after the last time: "I'm happy, just doing a few laps. In the end it's a very simple training - explained Andrea Iannone." Are you planning to race a Ducati in 2023? "Today is just a day of fun with friends, that's all."
