He has won the World Endurance Championship four times, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Bol d'Or (six times), raced in SBK, Supersport, 250 and even the Dakar, but Matthieu Lagrive was missing one challenge: the TT. That said, this year the French rider, at the age of 43, will make his Tourist Trophy debut wearing the colors of the Optimark Road Racing Team.

"I was on the Isle of Man this weekend for the first time to take a look at the course and wow, what a place! - said Lagrive - There are so many things to remember, the turns, the signs, the houses, the poles, the bumps. I have no goals, it will take me a few years to figure out how fast I can be."

This year Matthieu will still participate in the World Endurance Championship and, to prepare for the TT, he will also run the North West 200.
