Ken Block is gone, the news was confirmed by Hoonigans' Instagram account. The American driver, 55 and a true gymkhana idol, was the victim of a snowmobile accident near his ranch in Park Ciry, Utah state. This is the post confirming the sad news:  

"It is with our deepest regret that we can confirm that Ken Block died today in a snowmobile accident. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And, most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed. Please respect the family's privacy at this time while they grieve."

Everyone is well aware of Ken Block's incredible feats on four wheels, capable of becoming the protagonist of simply legendary videos as he drove his car sideways enchanting with maneuvers on the edge of physics. A co-founder of the DC Shoes company, he raced in rallies and was friends with so many riders in the MotoGP paddock, including Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner, who dedicated a post to him on their social channels this morning.
