MotoGP: Nakagami, surgery for finger tendon injury: “I’m not giving up”

Following his fall in Aragon after his accident with Marquez, Nakagami’s injury was worse than expected. The LCR team rider had to undergo surgery.

He updated everyone on his situation through his social media profiles regarding the injury to the fingers of his right hand: “I was operated on my fourth and fifth finger after consulting with Dr. Mir, when it seemed as if the tendons were involved. It’ll be tough, but I’m not giving up.

Taka was naturally referring to his participation in his home Grand Prix at Motegi, scheduled for this weekend.
