The long-awaited moment of Marc Marquez’s return to racing on a Grand Prix track has arrived, and fate has it that it’s going to be Aragon. For the rider from Spain, Motorland is a special track, because it can undoubtedly be defined as his home race, given how close it is to his native Cervera but, and above all, because of the performance this track offers and what it’ll offer this weekend.

One hundred days have passed since the last time Marc Marquez raced, and few were ready to bet on seeing Marc on the podium again, but his indomitable soul seems totally ready and, as much as he continues to say that he wants to go slow, and that this will be a period of recovery, many are sure that Marc won’t be content to experience a GP as a supporting actor. Maybe he won’t push 110% as he used to until early 2020, but if he has to start being confident on the track and, especially if his physical conditions were to allow it, it’s hard not to imagine him ready to push to the limit so that he can claim his place as leader in the hungry pack of MotoGP riders.

Well, what can I say? I’m very happy to return to the MotoGP this weekend,Marc said, especially on a track that’s so special for me as Aragon is. The goal of this weekend is not to fight but to improve everything and prepare well for the future. Improve myself, the bike, everything. Misano went well, but the race weekend will be different. It’ll be more intense, and there’s less time to rest, so it’ll be another type of challenge. I did a lot of recuperating and continued to work in the gym, as well as getting back to cycling before this weekend. Yeah, I’m glad to be back.

At the other end of the garage, Pol Espargarò prepares to face his last races with HRC before returning to the KTM with GasGas.
We had a good test in Misano, and I had a positive week of training and then recuperating at home, so I can’t wait to race in Aragon this weekend. Of course, all the local fans are a nice boost and, after what we found during the tests, I’m aiming at a positive weekend. , so we have to progress in this series of races. Our first task is to confirm what we found in Misano, and see how the weekend unfolds.
