Moto2: Taiga Hada replaces Gabri Rodrigo for remainder of season

Taiga Hada will replace Gabriel Rodrigo for the remainder of the season on the Pertamina Mandalika SAG team's Kalex. The 23-year-old Japanese rider will  race in the 13th round in Austria at the Red Bull Ring. The same circuit where he got a wild card with the same team last year.

"I’m really happy to be able to participate in the second part of the championship," Taiga Hada said. "I’m grateful to PUP and TN45 for allowing me to participate in the GP. I’ll give it my all for the rest of the season."

Edu Perales commented: "We’ve received many offers to replace Gabriel Rodrigo, but we decided to give Taiga the chance because he already got a wildcard with us last year, and we’re very satisfied with his professionalism and his talent. As always, we’ll give Taiga all our support, and we take this opportunity to wish Gabri a speedy recovery."
