The Porsche 918 Spyder has an aspirated V8 engine with 4,600 cc. two 887 HP electric motors, a 1,280 Nm torque, and a weight of 1,647 Kg. The KTM RC16 MotoGP has a 1,000 cc V4, with a power that reaches 300 hp, but weighs one tenth the weight of the car.
Who would win in an acceleration challenge? The YouTube channel, Carwow, wanted to answer this question and, to do so, they called an exceptional pilot: Dani Pedrosa.

The Supercar didn’t have a chance against the MotoGP. On the fourth best, the RC16 stopped the stopwatch at 9.5 seconds, 6 tenths better than the Porsche.
Even in recovery, on a half-mile distance, nothing doing: both in third and fifth gears, the KTM squashed the 918, and it didn’t even have to “cheat” with a lower gear.
Was the car ever a winner? Yes, in braking. Four wheels (and the ABS) made a difference, even if Dani Pedrosa's sensitivity gave the Porsche a run for its money.
