MotoGP, Bagnaia-Ducati storming the World Championship: "Aiming for the best result"

Really high expectations for the Borgo Panigale constructor and Pecco: "Last tests on the set-up on Friday and Saturday in Qatar." Miller: "I'm physically and mentally ready."

MotoGP: Bagnaia-Ducati storming the World Championship:

After a great season finale, where Pecco Bagnaia was able to take home 5 poles and 4 wins in the last six races of 2021, there are really high expectations for both the Borgo Panigale constructor and  the rider from Turin. 2022 is beginning with the first race on the Losail track where, quite surprisingly, two Yamahas won last year and where Pecco got his first pole in the top class in his  debut with the official Ducati team.

"The first Grand Prix of the year is always a special moment, and racing at night in Qatar makes the atmosphere even more evocative,”  Bagnaia said. “After the winter break, we only had five days of testing in Sepang and Mandalika to be able to prepare for the start of the Championship, so it’s going to be  really important to make good use of  Friday and Saturday, in order to finish the last set-up tests before the race. The Losail International Circuit is a track that really lends itself  to the characteristics of our Desmosedici GP, so I’m confident and, as always, I’ll aim to achieve the best result!"

Along with Pecco, there’s Jack Miller battling for the title, and he’s going to have to try to surprise Gigi Dall 'Igna and Paolo Cibatti during the first races if he wants to remain on the official team.

I'm ready to race in the first GP of the season in Qatar! This year, like never before, I feel determined and strong, not only physically, but also mentally. In 2021, here in Losail, we were fast also during the tests, but we weren’t able to achieve the desired result during the race. I hope it goes differently this year and that we’ll be able to start the season as protagonists!"
