According to reports this afternoon from colleague Simon Patterson Livio Suppo is ready to return to MotoGP. The former Honda HRC executive, who parted ways with the Tokyo-based manufacturer in 2017, will in fact be Suzuki's new team manager. Livio will then go on to fill the seat left vacant by Davide Brivio at the end of 2020 following Joan Mir's victory. In the last season the Hamamatsu-based manufacturer had not had a real team manager and this, according to the riders, had greatly affected performance on the track. Joan Mir, himself, is not sure about renewing with the team, but perhaps the arrival of a top manager like Suppo will comfort him about the goodness of the Suzuki project.
