VIDEO - Valentino begins his career as a driver: tests at Magny-Cours

Valentino Rossi started his 2022 as a car driver. Yesterday he was on the French circuit of Magny-Cours to continue his apprenticeship on the WRT team's Audi R8 LMS with which he'll be participating in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Championship this year. This isn’t the first time the Doctor tests the German car. The first was last December in Valencia.

He's taking his first step towards his new career. And, as in any self-respecting test, his Audi was black, waiting to discover the official graphics, although we’re already certain that he’ll continue to use his iconic number 46.

On his social media channels, Valentino published a short video (see above) that tells about his day, including the many laps he did on the track and also a little pasta to recharge his  batteries.

The first official test of the championship is scheduled for March 7th and 8th at the Paul Ricard, while the first race will be in Italy, in Imola, on the weekend of April 1st to 3rd.
