MotoGP, Aprilia non-stop: Private tests for Viñales and Savadori in Sepang

Aprilia wants to make the most of the concessions in these winter tests. During the past few days in three shakedowns, Maverick Viñales  took to the track on Tuesday and Wednesday, while Aleix Espargarò only tested the RS-GP on the last day. Theoretically, no one was supposed to be testing on the Sepang track today, but the riders from Noale wanted to continue their work.

Viñales and test rider Savadori tested unstintingly until 2 pm. The Spanish rider completed 43 laps, the best of which in 1’59"295, while the Italian reached 52 laps, the best in 2’01"250.

Aprilia wanted the track all to itself, and they also kept the pit lane closed to work undisturbed.

The riders will be back on the circuit Saturday morning for the first two official test days.
