MotoGP, Fernandez: "I have to concentrate on myself," Gardner: "My wrist hurts."

The apprenticeship period in Sepang continues for Tech3’s KTM riders. Raul: "I’m trying to understand as much as possible on the Motogp." Remy: "I’m starting to feel better about the bike, but my fractures are starting to hurt.”

MotoGP: Fernandez:

The Sepang tests – reserved for rookies and testers –  has ended (SEE HERE). Yesterday, the best was Raul Fernandez on the KTM of the Tech3 team, while the Spanish rider had to surrender to Vinales' speed today and to Pirro’s and Marco Bezzecchi’s Ducatis.

"Today was also a very positive day,” Raul said. “I basically continued my process of adapting to the Motogp. With the team, we worked very well, and I did several laps to try to understand as much as possible. I think the right approach is to focus all my attention on myself and do many laps, without changing the bike too much. This is how I’ll adapt to the category. So we’ll continue in the same direction tomorrow as well."

A bit behind when it comes to the time rankings, both yesterday and today, Remy Gardner is still dealing with a fractured wrist and ribs.

"Today was a really good day. I’m starting to feel better about the bike because we made some good changes. I’m still trying to manage my wrist that caused me pain throughout the day, but I still think I’m doing well. We need days to test many things. Everything is going smoothly at the moment. I’m enjoying everything, and I can’t wait for tomorrow."
