In recent days, the news has spread of Valentino Rossi's request to rent out the Rossini Theatre in Pesaro for a special event at the end of February. Of course, the rumour mill started to run wild about what such a prestigious venue would be used for.
According to information learnt by GPOne, the Doctor is not preparing the presentation of his season as a car driver, with Audi, but that of his team. The VR46 team, which recently announced as main sponsor Mooney, will this year participate in MotoGP with two Ducatis to be raced by Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, as well as in Moto2 with Celestino Vietti and Niccolò Antonelli.
An important venue is usually required for entry into the premier class and Valentino seems to have found one. However, there are still some details to be sorted out and in fact the event is not yet confirmed, but it is hoped that the official go-ahead will be given as soon as possible.
