The participants are busy tackling the second stage, from Ha'il to Al Artawiya, but with a whole lot of turns of events and misfortunes for Danilo Petrucci.
The KTM rider supposedly had a problem with his 450 Rally at kilometer 150 and was unable to resolve it. He ended up having to request a helicopter to rescue him. Unless he returns with a jolly – where he’ll however have to face a really steep penalty in terms of time – his Dakar will end here.
