MotoGP: Pirro heads for a sideways honeymoon amongst the desert dunes

On 18 December Michele Pirro and Paola Ricucci got married. After the yes, the couple spent a few days in Romagna and then left on their long-awaited honeymoon. The choice fell upon Dubai, which in this period represents one of the most popular destinations for winter holidays.

So we started to wonder: how is Michele spending his holidays? The answer is simple: on the bike! You read that right. These days Pirro is in fact having fun in the desert dunes riding a Husqvarna. Together with him is the whole Garage 51 family with Nemo Scaglia, Luca Marconi and Sean Gaugain, the man who has been following Petrucci in his preparation for the Dakar. Among those present was Matteo Ferrari, former Moto E champion and Ducati Superbike test rider.

In the last few hours we caught up with Michele for a quick hello and he wanted to thank us with a quip: "Where can you find a rider who takes his wife on a honeymoon in the desert?". Here, on this matter we would like to have a comment also from Paola to know what she thinks about it.

Seriously, we can only wish the couple a happy honeymoon, reminding Michele that Sepang is just around the corner waiting for him.
