Johnny Rea’s Jerez tests on Wednesday and Friday were exemplary. The Cannibal proved to be the fastest of the group, so much so that he dug a deep furrow between him and the competition.

Johnny is definitely satisfied with  the work done: “It was a really fun two days,” the rider from Northern Ireland said. “We structured the test to be able to race on the first day and then have a day off so that the mechanics could worked on the bike. We were able to get a lot of good data in Jerez. I’m really happy with the work done with the team, Showa, and KMC. Everything we had to do has been done, and now comes the most important part because, in January, we’ll act on the basis of what we’ve tested here in Spain.

Johnny then took stock: “To be honest, this test was quite mentally challenging, since I did a lot of work after almost a month without a bike. So I can’t wait to go home and spend Christmas with my family and have some free time.
