As was widely expected, Maverick Vinales will no longer be using the Yamaha R1 set up by YART to train on the track. The break with the Iwata-based manufacturer has put an end to the collaboration in this regard as well, and YART has recently put the Yamaha flagship sports bike up for sale, which the Spaniard uses during the course of the season to train on the track as Rossi and Morbidelli do between Misano and Mugello.
No harm done for Maverick, who will certainly soon receive an Aprilia RSV4 to train on, as Aleix Espargarò has been doing for some time now and as we have recently seen Max Biaggi and Andrea Iannone do.
