Pecco Bagnaia confirmed at Misano that appetite comes with eating, even when it comes to MotoGP victories. After his splendid success in Aragon, the Ducati rider was able to repeat his performance on Ducati's home track, holding off an almost perfect Fabio Quartararo until the very last lap. As always, Carlo Pernat commented the race for us, in front of a bottle of Prosecco DOC.

In addition to the duel between the two contenders for the title, the real man of the day was undoubtedly Enea Bastianini, who was able to get on the podium after a sumptuous comeback from 12th on the grid. Then there was Dovizioso's debut on the Yamaha, which certainly no one expected to be so difficult for the three-time MotoGP vice world champion.

"We are in Misano, the land of the best Italian riders - said Pernat - except for Bagnaia, who is from Turin and after the wonderful victory in Aragon, he repeated himself here. He still wants to play the world championship and in my opinion he can put pressure on Quartararo. Fabio has his head on his shoulders, he limited the damage losing only 5 points, but the pressure is there.

Two Ducatis on the podium with the two Bs of Bagnaia and Bastianini. Enea deserves a special mention because with a 2019 bike he made a fantastic race and he is doing a right path. Miller had a good race, but with his riding style he consumes too much tires and I think he can't fight for the world championship anymore.

Yellow crowd in the stands, with a lot of nostalgia to say goodbye to Valentino Rossi who is no longer the racer we knew. Then there was Dovi's debut with Yamaha, which I think he expected to do better. But I think he has time to work on the bike for next season".
