Right when the MotoGP seemed to have reached its peak in aerodynamic evolutions, there’s always someone seeking new ideas. KTM did so focusing on the tail by adding a wing, which you can see in the video below.

This component generates an aerodynamic load on the rear wheel when braking, so that the bike is more stable at the rear and riding is improved.

But KTM wasn’t the first to experiment this solution. Ducati did in 2018 (see photo below), but only in tests and not during races.
