MotoGP: Bastianini back in shape after the vaccine, Rossi will have a booster on Monday

These days a good number of professionals are undergoing the second dose of the vaccine in Qatar, including some riders. The booster may have some contraindications in the 24 hours following its administration, usually a bit of fever, the symptoms of a slight flu. Some, like Danilo Petrucci, had nothing, while Enea Bastianini spent a sleepless night with nausea and fever. Today, however, the Ducati rider is doing well and, as his manager Carlo Pernat confirmed, he will be back on his Desmosedici for FP1 of the Doha GP.

To avoid any problems close to the race weekend, some riders have preferred to postpone the second dose to Monday. Among them are Rossi and Morbidelli. “I followed the indications of sensible Valentino” Franco explained with a smile.
