We'll have to wait a little longer to see him on the official M1, also because the Sepang tests were cancelled due to the COVID-19. Better then to console himself with the factory rider's uniform.

This is what Fabio Quartararo must have thought when he arrived at Yamaha's headquarters in Gerno di Lesmo, just a few kilometres from the Monza circuit.

The Frenchman was given a tour of the factory for the occasion, and was then photographed with Lin Jarvis and Maio Meregalli in their factory rider's suits. Fabio's 2021 has begun, while his team-mate Maverick Vinales' 2021 will start on Wednesday, when he will take to the track at Jerez with the Yamaha R1 road bike for Superbike testing.
