MotoGP, Alex Marquez: “Dovizioso is waiting for news from Marc? I don't understand why "

Two successive crashes. Alex Marquez is gearing up ahead of the second race at Valencia, where the goal is undoubtedly to make amends for his recent retirements. The Spaniard is fully aware of this, and he intends to finish this first season as a rookie in the premier class in the best possible way.

“We have a lot of things to improve in view of the season finale - Alex began - I have to try to have more confidence with the bike and at the same time with the flying lap in qualifying. The Honda is certainly a bike with great potential and Nakagami has shown it recently. All this makes me confident, aware of the fact that I am ready to have a good weekend ”.

After two successive mistakes, Alex has a clear goal…

“Without a doubt, finishing the race, this is the priority. I am a rookie and I always try to learn and improve. From Aragon to today I have learned and I want to do it more and more. Mistakes can certainly happen, such as last Sunday, when I didn't brake before and then found myself on the ground. Inside of me, however, I can't wait to start again and have a good race ".

His final comment concerned Dovizioso and the fact that as they say he is waiting to understand the situation linked to Marc's health. Who knows, there may be a call from Honda …

“Dovizioso is waiting to understand Marc's condition? Honestly, I don't know and I don't understand why. I know that Marc is working hard to recover and be at the start of next season with the Honda”.

The Spaniard then cut short on the matter, returning to talk about the race weekend.

"It will be an interesting weekend, where I will try to be competitive from the first session. The choice of tyres will be fundamental, especially in view of the race on Sunday. Personally, I arrive at this GP confident, given that in Valencia the bike has always been competitive and I am convinced it can be so also on this occasion ".
