MotoGP, Lorenzo: "I don't race because I don't want to, not because I can't"

Jorge on Twitter: "As a test rider I feel happy and fulfilled and I have a lot of free time. What more can I ask for in life?"

MotoGP: Lorenzo:

Jorge Lorenzo likes to have a direct line with his fans and often on Twitter responds to their messages and also to their criticisms. This time he talked about his career, after giving an interview in which he revealed that he was close to returning to racing with Ducati next year.

A possibility that the Majorcan gave up on.

“I don't race because I don't want to, not because I can't - he wrote - As a test rider I feel happy, fulfilled, I treat myself well and I have a lot of free time, what more can I ask from life?”.

Lorenzo's days as a racer are therefore over, but that doesn't mean we won't see him again on a MotoGP bike. After a long break, Jorge will be on the Yamaha M1 on 7 and 8 October in Portimao together with the other test riders in the premier class.
