"This photo may contain graphic or violent content," is the clear warning from Instagram and it actually takes a strong stomach to look at the shots posted by Cal Crutchlow on his profile.

The LCR team rider has gone back to the operating room, after having been operated on for his fractured scaphoid after the first GP at Jerez. This time the doctors intervened on his forearm to solve the problem of compartment syndrome, which has afflicted many a motorbike racer in recent years.

Crutchlow, however, with the spirit of a documentary maker, wanted to show the intervention in detail, without censorship.

The face with which Fabio Quartararo commented on the post says a lot about the content of the photos.

We only publish the image of the scar after the operation, if you want to see the other images, we refer you to Cal's Instagram profile.
