Ecco nel dettaglio la collisione fra l'italiano ed il francese e la sua fortunata conclusione ripresa da ogni angolo video possibile: tragedia sfiorata e vero miracolo, ma di chi è la colpa?
Addossarla tutta alla manovra di Zarco ci sembra non del tutto corretto. Quel punto del Red Bull Ring andrebbe sicuramente modificato, perché se è vero che un pilota può sbagliare una manovra il risultato di un errore non deve trasformare le moto in proiettili capaci di attraversare la pista mentre altri concorrenti sopraggiungono.
Fra pochi giorni, comunque, si tornerà a gareggiare nella medesima pista, e a questo punto quali saranno le decisioni della Safety Commission? Perché l'incidente ha drammaticamente evidenziato delle carenze di sicurezza passiva, al di là delle cause che hanno scatrnato l'incidente.
Ma come si può modificare quel punto del tracciato per metterlo in sicurezza?

To put it all down to Zarco's maneuver seems to us not entirely correct. That point in the Red Bull Ring should definitely be changed, because if it is true that a rider can make a mistake in a manoeuvre, the result of a mistake should not turn the bikes into bullets capable of crossing the track while other competitors are coming in.
In a few days, however, we will be back to racing on the same track, and at this point what will be the decisions of the Safety Commission? Because the accident has dramatically highlighted passive safety deficiencies, beyond the causes that triggered the accident.
But how can that point on the track be modified to make it safe?
This will be a subject that will be discussed at length this week.
