SBK: Honda-Bautista: What's cooking? HRC on track in Aragon...

It's already time to get back on track. If for some Superbike teams Barcelona was the last outing before the championship starts again, the same is not true for Honda. That's right, because the HRC team will be on the scene this week on the track in Aragon.

Leon Haslam and Alvaro Bautista will be back in action on Thursday and Friday at the Motorland track, which will host two Superbike rounds between late August and early September.  Everyone's really curious about the HRC factory, especially when it comes to the Spanish rider, who is eagerly waiting for some new components that are arriving from Japan.

Honda has never stopped during these months, carrying on its development work for the CBR 1000 RR-R. Engineers from Japan will also be present during the two days in Motorland. They were able to receive special permits, just like their MotoGP colleagues busy with the World Championship in Jerez on the weekend.

During the two days in Barcelona we saw that the absence of the Japanese engineers was a significant problem, since the team lost several hours of work because it was busy in videocalls with Asia. This time, they shouldn't have these problems.
