Introducing Valentino Rossi's Ferrari for the Abu Dhabi 12 Hours

The livery of the 488 GT3 with which the Doctor will compete in December's endurance race along with Uccio and Luca Marini is unveiled

It was bound to feature #46 and a good dose of yellow and here it is, the livery of the Ferrari 488 GT3 with which Valentino Rossi will compete in the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi on 14 December. The livery has been unveiled on social channels and features an elegant blue paired with the classic yellow. As ever in racing, the important thing is that the car is fast rather than beautiful, but the eye always plays its part.

The Doctor, in a team together with brother Luca Marini and friend Alessio 'Uccio' Salucci, has already tested the car during a preparatory session at Misano a few weeks ago.

Shortly before he leaves for Abu Dhabi, Valentino will also enjoy another training opportunity, but in a Formula 1 single-seater. On 9 December he will be at Valencia with Lewis Hamilton, with Rossi taking the wheel of the Mercedes and the F1 driver aboard the MotoGP Yamaha M1.
