His qualification ended early. Marc Marquez's Saturday in Sepand left a bitter taste in his mouth. He was the victim of a violent highside that forced him to change his plans. #93 was thrown from his bike when he was behind Quartararo, and tomorrow he'll be starting from the eleventh position on the grid.

"The truth is I'm more disappointed about my eleventh time than about the fall,"  Marc began,"Too bad that my qualification ended this way. I'm in a bit of pain everywhere, especially my left knee, which is somewhat swollen. Besides that, I'm okay."

Marc then turns his attention to the fall.

"I was struggling a lot with the bike when changing direction, since the Honda wasn't stable. Maybe I was a bit more aggressive than usual, and I ended up falling. I feel bad, since I was able to find a good pace during the FP4. Unfortunately, Sepang is not one of our favorite circuits."

At that moment, Marc was behind Quartararo.

"To tell you the truth, I did't even want to wait for Fabio, since he was too fast but, in the end, he was the one in front of me. As we all know, when we use new tires, the Yamahas are really fast, and we saw that right away. Unfortunately I fell, but I would have probably fallen on my own anyway. Certainly, the highside in Buriram was much more dangerous for me."

Marc blames himself.

"In some tracks, where I feel strong, the other riders follow me. Here I instead tried to be alone on the track, and was going at about a high 1'58". Quartararo was fast, and all the riders like Cal, Rins, and a few others wanted to follow him to reach their times.

So Honda's #93 was on the chase In Malaysia.

"I had already given up on the first row this morning. I knew Fabio, Maverick, and Franco would have been upfront, and that's how it was. I'm sorry it's over, but we have to think about Sunday, where I hope I'll have a good pace. The victory will be very difficult, so we'll try to reach the top five and maybe aim for the podium."
