Dorna has today published the list of teams registered for entry in the 2020 Moto2 and Moto3 world championships. The initial meeting with IRTA took place at Silverstone on 22 August and the last at Aragon on 19 September. All teams have already paid the required deposit and so are officially signed up for next season.

The biggest change in Moto2 is that all teams will field two riders. This has meant the departure of the Kiefer and Tasca outfits, while Gresini and Petronas have doubled their commitment. In total, 30 riders are entered, 2 less than this season.

Two-rider teams are also desired in Moto3 and the Max Racing Team has moved to meet this requirement, the only exception being the Reale Avintia Arizona 77 team, which will field only one rider. 2020 will see Team Tech3 enter the cadet class, having moved away from Moto2. There is also the sad loss of Fiorenzo Caponera's team (which we predicted), one of the best teams in the championship for many years and one helped riders of the caliber of Iannone and Simoncelli to develop. It won two 125 world titles with Locatelli and Vincent.

Here below is the complete list of teams entered for 2020. They now have until 14 November to confirm the names of their riders.
