A terrible accident occurred during yesterday's Superstock 600 warm-up session at Snetterton, a BSB championship round, when Aaron Clifford, Adam Hartgrove and Charlie Morris all crashed along the straight.

Aaron Clifford (19, originally from Duleek in Ireland) suffered the most serious consequences. Circuit doctors immediately intervened at the site of the accident, before transporting the rider to the medical centre. Aaron has suffered a serious trauma to the head and the championship doctors put him into an induced coma before transferring him by helicopter to Addenbrookes Hopsital.

The other two riders sustained less serious injuries: Charlie Morris was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with a broken collarbone, while Adam Hartgrove suffered only slight injury.

Updates to follow as and when available.
