Ducati is not the only manufacturer to have brought aerodynamic updates to Mugello, as Aprilia has also prepared something new for its home round. This afternoon, during second free practice, Andrea Iannone and Aleix Espargarò debuted an aerodynamic evolution on their RS-GP.

The Noale bike featured a pair of wings that follow the line of the most recent solutions used by the competition, namely Ducati and Honda. So there are two spoilers applied to the lower part of the top fairing and another two on the fairing.

The riders' initial feedback has proved very positive. “The new fairing has allowed us to take a small step forward" stated Iannone. And team-mate Espargarò is in agreement: “it's definitely useful, the bike has gained in agility while generating greater aerodynamic load”.
