Another off-road tragedy: Pendikainen has died

A black weekend for the off-road world, with Raffaele Mazzola losing his life in Italy while taking part in the Italian Senior MX Championship at Cavallara and Antti Pendikainen suffering a fatal accident while participating in the European Cross Country Cup in Finland on Sunday.

The rider lost control of his bike and died as a result. The organisers looked into the circumstances of the incident and ruled out any technical problems with the bike.
