MotoGP, GP tests at Mugello: Ducati, Aprilia and KTM all on track

VIDEO. The three manufacturers stopped in at the Tuscan track with their respective Test Teams yesterday in preparation for the GP

There is no time for rest at Mugello, yesterday too a busy day of MotoGP testing. Ducati, Aprilia and KTM were all out at the Tuscan track, preparing for the Italian GP taking place in a little over two weeks.

The Test Teams' trucks could be seen in the paddock, along with that of Michelin, the tyre supplier taking the opportunity to check its tyre selection ahead of the upcoming Italian round.

Michele Pirro, even published a short video on his Facebook page (which you can see by clicking on the image above) so that fans can enjoy the rumble of his Desmosedici GP19.

Once again, test riders will be tasked with paving the way for the factory riders over the race weekend. For Ducati and Aprilia in particular (the latter counting on Bradley Smith as tester), the Mugello race is one of the most important of the season, playing out on home turf.

KTM, meanwhile, needs to grow and so being able to test a few days before a race is a precious opportunity.
