Phil Read fell ill at the Imola 200 Miglia Revival

You can breathe in the air of the golden age of motorcycling in Imola these days, thanks to the 200 Miglia Revival. Many past champions returned to the Santerno to drive the bikes they once drove in their youth.

 Among them was also Phil Read who, at 80, has no intention of leaving behind his two wheels. Unfortunately, the 7-time world champion  fell ill and was hospitalized. Read was held under observation but does not appear to be in serious condition, as reported by the Resto del Carlino newspaper.
