Max Biaggi had sworn to not race anymore, but this doesn't mean he has to give up on speed. In fact, the Corsair wants to try to beat the maximum speed record for electric motorcycles under 300 kg. And this he'll do on the Voxan Wattman (below) in Bolivia in the summer of 2020. The stated target is to reach 330 km/h, since the previous record reached in 2013 by Jim Hoogerhyde was is 327.608 km/h.
After all, Max is not new to certain attempts. In 1994, in Nardò, he succeeded in establishing 5 world records with one of the first electric motorcycles, the Violent-Violet designed by Engineer Fabio Fazi. The maximum speed reached was 168 km/h. This shows how technology has evolved in recent years.
