Marc Marquez returns to the scene of the crime. It's difficult to forget the contact between #93 and Valentino Rossi at Termas de Rio Hondo one year ago, which saw the Doctor crash out with his M1. A GP that led to great controversy, though the Spaniard was able to respond on the racetrack with victories and the world title.

Marc's 2019 began with a second-place finish at Losail and the Honda rider has clear ideas as to what he needs to do in South America: “We started out with the right foot in Qatar, managing to fight for the win right to the end. The aim will be the same in Argentina, trying to score as many points as possible”.

During this three-week break, the seven-time champion had chance to recharge the batteries: “I have to say that I've been able to get back to my MX training and am very confident ahead of this race”.

There are high hopes on the other side of the garage too, Jorge Lorenzo back on the Honda following the difficulties of his first race. The crashes made his life difficult, but he has no intention of throwing in the towel: “Although I didn't finish with the result I wanted at Losail, we showed that we have potential with the Honda. The next race will give me the chance to improve on board the bike. From a physical point of view, I feel good, as I have better feeling with regard to my wrist and ribs”.

#99 is hungry to make up for Losail, despite the South American track having brought some disappointment in the past: “This has never been one of those tracks where I'm strong, but it's a fresh opportunity with the Honda”.
