Following the cancellation of the first MotoE round, which was scheduled to take place at Jerez on 5 May, today the second Le Mans round (19 May) has also been cancelled. The fire that devastated all the bikes and materials just a few weeks before the start of the series has led to a completed revision of the calendar. It means starting over from scratch, and two months is just not long enough.

The French GP promoter has revealed that the electric bikes won't race at Le Mans, adding that they are trying to see if they can begin the championship in June.

In recent days, Dorna has confirmed that the MotoE World Cup will go ahead in 2019 but a new calendar has not yet been published.
