Jon Ekerold, former 350 cc world champion, on his Facebook page informed us about a brilliant book.

"On Saturday the 29th of May, 1979, motorcycle GP racing lost one of it's greatest competitors, when Tom Herron, the pride of Ireland, crashed and died during the North West 200.

That was almost 40 years ago, and to commemorate that fateful and tragic day, Tom's friend and greatest fan, Leslie Moore, has written a truly great book which celebrates the life and times of this extraordinary man.

Painstakingly researched and produced in a quality glossy format full of superb photos, Leslie has done a fantastic job of telling Tom's amazing life story so that those who never knew him will have the opportunity to understand what he was all about".
