From today until Sunday, the Moto2 and Moto3 riders will be busy during the last winter tests in Qatar, but Steven Odendaal won’t be one of them. He’ll be entrusting his NTS from the RW Racing GP team to Jesko Raffin. Swiss rider Raffin will also be replacing him in the first Grand Prix of the season.
The South African rider had foot surgery, after having broken his big toe in training. Unfortunately, he got a bone infection while he was on vacation in Bali, and Dr. Xavier Mir decided to resort to surgery after visiting him last week in Barcelona.
As mentioned, Jesko Raffin - current Moto2 European champion and previous test rider for Kalex - will ride the NTS in Losail.
