In a brief, but to-the-point video, Wayne Rainey announced the big news for 2019 that the MotoAmerica championship had promised for some time now, with the goal of satisfying even more fans.

The first news arrived today: the ten rounds on the calendar will be broadcast live on FS2, a FOX Sports channel. In addition to the live and same-day coverage of the MotoAmerica Superbike Series, there will also be 90-minute re-airs within seven days of each event on FS2 with a total of 45 hours of MotoAmerica action scheduled for the 2019 season.

Defending champ Cameron Beaubier, former MotoGP rider Toni Elias, Josh Herrin and JD Beach will have no more secrets and fans will be able to follow the protagonists of the top American motorcycle competition thanks to FS2 which, according to Nielsen Media Research, has a reach of nearly 57 million households. The engines are about to start, so all that’s left now is to find a comfortable spot on the couch. MotoAmerica promises a great show once again this year, something that three-time 500 class champ Wayne Rainey is sure of: “We’re very pleased to have FS2 as the home of MotoAmerica Superbike racing.”

Also rather pleased is Josh Oakley, FOX Sports VP Acquisitions & Programming: “Adding the MotoAmerica Superbike Series to FS2 continues a long history of exciting motor sports action available on the FOX Sports family of networks. FS2 is a destination for motor sports fans, and MotoAmerica delivers on the expectations of our viewers.”
