MotoGP: Mystery: Lorenzo in A&E, problems ahead?

Jorge Lorenzo spent at least two hours in A&E at the Pederzoli clinic in Peschiera del Garda, as reported by the Corriere del Veneto. It doesn't appear to be anything serious, but no official version of events has been provided.

According to reports, Lorenzo went to the clinic along with two other people as a result of pain in his hand, but the precise nature of the problem is unknown. Bear in mind that we are now counting down to the Team Repsol Honda presentation in Madrid on 23 January and, particularly, the Sepang test, which gets underway on 6 February.

A physical problem during this phase of the season could pose a serious problem for the five-time world champion. We will have to wait for clarification regarding the issue, having only what amounts to a "no comment" for now.
