The Grand Prix of Thailand held disappointment for Andrea Iannone. The Italian rider’s expectations were rather different, in fact, but instead, the Suzuki rider had to settle for an eleventh-place finish. His race was marked from the start and then The Maniac’s problems hounded him throughout.
“It’s a pity about the start – Andrea began – The bike spun out a lot, which caused me to lose a lot of positions. It was about to switch off, but fortunately I was able to recover from the situation and even I don’t know how.”
Andrea explained in further detail.
“The problem is that in braking, I am unable to be effective with the Suzuki – he said – I was faster than Miller and Danilo. In fact, I was lapping 3-4 tenths faster. Unfortunately, however, I was unable to overtake.”
The Suzuki rider’s disappointment is great.
“I had the pace to stay with the top seven. It’s a pity it went this way.”
