Troy Bayliss never ceases to amaze. The Australian Superbike legend, at 49 years of age, appears to have no intention of leaving the saddle.... not even when there's no engine in sight!

After returning from the world championship in 2015, Bayliss has been competing in the Australian national series on a Ducati, but his latest adventure involves a mountain bike.

His decision to take part in a race in the Nerang State Forest, a place “that I know like the back of my hand”, was an easy one to make.

Our hero will take part in the Pan Pacific Masters Game from 2 to 11 November on the Gold Coast, in Queensland.
A total of 13,000 participants are expected.

Troy is pictured with Benita Willis, former Australian champion in the discipline.
