ItalianoJorge Navarro will ride for Speed Up in the Moto2 championship as of next season. Luca Boscoscuro's team has confirmed the hiring of the Spaniard for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. The Italian team is now seeking its second rider, with the departure of Kent as good as certain, and has been negotiating with Romano Fenati in recent weeks.
“I’m very happy to join Speed Up. I think it’s a great team and its results prove it - says Jorge - Next year will be my third season in the Moto2 World Championship, which I will certainly face with more experience and a winning project that is already motivating me. Now, I’m determined to finish the season in the best way and start the hard work with my new team to get great results!”
Luca Boscoscuro adds: “We are excited to welcome Jorge Navarro in Speed Up because we believe he is a young rider with high potential.
