SBK, Camier to try again, but his fitness remains in doubt

In the last two races they didn't even score one point. Since returning to Europe, the Ten Kate team has been having a very tough time of it. First Camier's injury, then Gagne's, and then a crash for the very unlucky O’Halloran fifteen days ago at Imola. Leon Camier made a return to his bike that weekend but waved the white flag after two sessions, preferring not to take any risks.

The aim was to prepare as well as possible for the Donington round, in which Leon will take part. Despite his serious accident at Assen, which left him with fractured ribs and lung damage, the Ten Kate rider will try to grit his teeth and race: “Until I get on the bike I don’t really know. The aim is for me and the team to try and complete the whole weekend."

“I had a few days off after Imola, and then went back to training and got the body moving again. The pain is still there but training is going well and my lung capacity is getting better, so I'm better than I was at Imola”.

So far the European rounds have proved disappointing for the Brit and just as he was finding confidence with the SP2, coming so close to the podium at Buriram, bad luck struck.
