MotoGP: Vinales angry: "I'm frustrated, something's not working in the garage"

His Yamaha crossed the line 23 seconds behind the Honda of Marc Marquez. A French Grand Prix to forget for Maverick Vinales, who can only console himself with the fact he lies second in the championship.

The Spaniard is angry because after one full year he is still struggling with the same issues as last season. First and foremost, the electronics, an area where there seems to be no answer, and one of the main reasons for his disappointment. And to think that one year ago he in fact won the Le Mans race, while yesterday he played the part of extra: “We're not working well inside the garage and we definitely need to change things – he states – I'm the only one suffering with the M1. I tried to push to the max through every turn, not worrying about the fact I might crash".

The rider points the finger at Yamaha: “unfortunately we're working badly on our side of the garage. Perhaps I can't explain myself properly but I'm definitely frustrated. It's also true that i've decided to extend my contract and so I can't complain. Maybe we need to change our method. The fact is that if I knew what we're doing wrong we'd be further forward and not playing catch-up. Finishing 23 seconds back definitely confirms that fact that something is not right. I also can't explain the fact that I'm second in the championship”.

All he can do is look to the future, and the Barcelona test followed by the Mugello round: “I honestly don't know if we'll have anything new in Spain. I want to wait. As for the championship, I'm just focusing on myself”.
