The Mugello track was definitely less crowded today with respect to yesterday, when all the MotoGP factory teams (with the exception of KTM) took part in a private test session. Only Aprilia and Suzuki, along with the Ducati Test Team and Michele Pirro, chose to stay and test for one more day.

While rain interrupted proceedings yesterday afternoon, conditions today were good and riders were able to work in preparation for the Italian GP.

There was no official timing today either, but we have the unofficial lap times. The fastest on track was Andrea Iannone on the Suzuki, who lapped in 1’47”6, almost a second slower than Marc Marquez's best yesterday, the fastest overall time.

As for the Aprilia riders, their performance was very similar. Aleix Espargarò set a best of 1’48”3, just a tenth slower than team-mate Scott Redding. Alex Rins also set a time in line with that of the British rider. As well as the MotoGP riders, certain Moto2 teams, including Marc VDS and Italtrans, were also on track today.
