The engines will be started up again on Friday morning, but there is still a question mark in the Honda camp regarding the physical condition of their rider Leon Camier. As you will recall, the rider was hit by the MV Agusta of Jordi Torres during the Aragon round, causing Camier to suffer injury to his chest and lung contusions, as well as fracturing posterior ribs 9, 10 and 11 on the left side.

The injury caused the Honda rider to sit out Assen, and there were doubts as to his attendance at Imola. The news it that Camier will be at the track and wants to try and ride. First, he will need to see the doctors on Thursday, who will decide whether or not he is fit to race.

If doctors say he is not ready to get back on his Fireblade, Honda has a stand-in at the ready. Despite no official confirmation, this is probably Jason O’Halloran, an Australian rider currently competing in BSB. On the other side of the garage Jake Gagne's presence is confirmed now that he has fully recovered from injury sustained after a violent highside during Friday's practice at Assen.
